which were heated by placing heated rocks into the water, this produced steam, the leaves oils vapours would be breathed in for various colds, coughs and flu. 
Eucalyptus oil is known as a very healing oil a it is anti-germicidal and antibacterial. It aids in the relief of tired muscles, aches and pains and is renowned for using when you have a cold or flu. It is excellent to use as an air freshener, its is uplifting, relaxing, removes bad room smells and odours, and calms tired and agitated children.
 
Lavender
Botanical Name: Lavandulaangustifolia / Lavandulaofficianalis
Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils to own. Lavender Oil has a beautiful, versatile aroma. It is anti-bacterial and is a must-have for your first-aid kit. Tea Tree
Botanical Name Melaleuca alternifolia
Tea Tree is must-have oil to keep on hand for a wide array of applications. The aroma is medicinal, but many become fond (or at the very least, tolerant) to the aroma after becoming accustomed to it. Although many authors and educators have expressly stated that Tea Tree Essential Oil can be applied to the skin undiluted, it is prudent to not heed this advice. Less is more.
